SALVATION
Despite what you may have heard before, Jesus came to this earth to give something to you. He did not come here to start another religion, or belittle us. Jesus came to save us, and that is the good news!
Jesus does not want something from you, but for you.
We often don’t sit and wonder what in our lives is missing from making us happy, or belong. Most of the time we spend our days focused on how it is that we are going to get through the day - to the next one. Even in the times that we may not sit and think about what is missing, we can often feel it.
What if I were to tell you that the thing you are missing, wasn't a thing at all! Rather someone who wants the best for you, and who would love nothing more than to stop your exhausting life long search for comfort.
God did not create you to be tired, afraid, alone, or lost. God created you for the purpose of knowing him, and being known by him. The only thing separating you from that, is you. You see all humans, even the "good" ones - are born with sin. It is not something that you choose, but something that was chosen for you. Sin separates us from God, and that separation breaks God's heart and leaves us feeling lost.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”

God sent his Son, Jesus to live and die as a holy sacrifice so that you would not have to pay the consequence for a decision that you didn't make. Jesus died and then was raised to life as an example that we have the opportunity for a new life - a happy & whole life with God.
