Being a church is a multifaceted operation that stands to minister, love, care, and provide for those in our congregation - and the surrounding areas. ALC is home to the largest faith-based food bank in Denver. With the goal of reaching and caring for our neighbors in need, volunteer involvement can make the difference in seeing a family in need is taken care of and provided for. Requires a valid Driver’s License. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds. Pickups are every day, both morning and night, including weekends.
Pre-pack Produce boxes to distribute to clients. Must be able to lift 20 pounds. Tuesday 8:30am to 12:30 pm
Tuesday nights after distribution (usually from 4 to 6 pm). Clean floors, tables, empty trash, fold boxes, defrost freezers, clean garage, etc.
Sort and organize Thanksgiving boxes and organize TEFAP. Other tasks as defined.
