YA Utah Mission Trip
This summer, Authentic Life Young Adults is heading to Salt Lake City with one mission: to share the true Gospel of Jesus Christ and be equipped to do it boldly.
We’ll be partnering with The Bridge Community Church, led by Pastor Loren, who is deeply passionate about reaching the LDS community. Each day, our team will be trained in how to share the Gospel clearly and confidently, then step into real conversations and evangelism opportunities in the community.
We’ll also serve through kids’ VBS, helping create a space where hundreds of children will hear the Gospel in a real and meaningful way.
This trip is different. It’s not just about going somewhere; it’s about realizing we are called to be missionaries right here at home.
The LDS community is growing rapidly, even in our own area. This trip will equip our young adults to understand what they believe, share their faith with confidence, and love people well.
When you give, you’re not just supporting a trip; you’re helping raise up bold, faith-filled leaders who will carry the Gospel back into their everyday lives.
This is about more than one week.

2026 Utah Mission Trip Team
TYLER DIXON
I am beyond excited for this opportunity because, as a representative of Christ, I have the opportunity to be sent with a team to a desperate place and offer the greatest gift ever given: the free gift of grace, truth, and perfect love presented to us through the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross for us. I am hoping and praying to see God move and lives changed on this trip, on the team, and throughout our day-to-day interactions. I believe that as a result of the obedience of this group, we will come back changed, stronger in our faith, and more on fire for the challenge of changing the world for Heaven's gain!
GAVIN MOODY
I am going on this trip because I love Utah and I love the LDS community! They are incredibly kind people, and I want to show them the love of Christ they haven’t seen from most Christians before, while also still hoping to share the true Gospel of the true Jesus with them. Not only will we be able to minister there, but I also hope to take the skills I learn there and bring them back home to the LDS community in Denver!

I’m so excited to drive out to Utah and have conversations with LDS members that could change their eternity! I know this trip will build my faith and boldness, craft memories I will reminisce about when I'm wrinkly and old, and –Lord willing– make a difference in many people.s lives!!

Howdy, I am beyond grateful for this amazing opportunity to share my Faith and the Gospel within our Country. America needs Jesus just as much as the rest of the world, so it is equally important to spread the good news here stateside. Oh boy, I AM SO EXCITED!!! I intend to make full use of the time on this mission trip to engage with, empathize with, and hopefully touch the hearts of the lost in Utah. The Gospel is everything that one could need, and so I know I must share it! I hope that I can make some friendships where I can be relied upon in times of need, and that those friendships can be focused on Jesus so that our combined power can grow the Kingdom of God.

I was once lost in darkness and desperate in need of a Savior. As a reborn child of Light, my soul aches for the lost who do not know the peace of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ. My hope is that even if just ONE comes to the Light, this will be all worth it! My hope is always in Jesus Christ, and I hope to deepen my relationship with God until he calls me home. I want to make disciples who make disciples, and they make disciples, and on and on!

I am extremely excited and grateful to have this opportunity to share the true Gospel to the people of Utah! I believe that we can be lost in this world, looking for something to fulfill us. But the reality is, only Jesus can satisfy, and how can anyone know that unless they are told?

MIKAH MEEKER
I am so incredibly ecstatic to be able to share the amazing word of God with every person I encounter while in Utah. After so many years of trying to fit things of the world into the God-shaped hole in my heart and then being so graciously saved, I am so blessed with the opportunity of potentially spreading that endless feeling of perfect peace and love to those who are attempting to fill the same hole. 2 Timothy 4:2 states, “Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage--with great patience and careful instruction.” This is exactly the plan I intend to execute while on this trip, sharing the undeserved yet graciously gifted love of Christ.
SHANE ESPIONZA
I am so excited for this trip because I have a tendency to say that I want to reach the lost for Jesus, but then I go and find “a better thing to do”. As Christians, we are commanded by Jesus to go and share our faith with others (Matthew 28:19), but how often are we really doing that? With this trip, I am hoping to get a lot of knowledge on the Mormon religion and their belief system so that I can have confidence sharing my faith with those who have contradicting views to mine. I know with all of my heart, soul, mind, and strength that this trip is going to build the kingdom of heaven, whether in Utah or in Colorado, there WILL be change! The 15 coming on this trip are going to make it so easy to charge towards the gates of Hades with no thought of turning back, and I cannot wait to see how much more God is going to move in us and through us for the truth of his gospel!

I'm really excited for this mission trip because it's a chance to step outside my own life and have a meaningful impact on others’ lives. I'm looking forward to serving to grow personally and spiritually. I can't wait to see how this mission trip will shape the people of Utah and me, as we spread the gospel too.

Jesus Christ is my Lord, who graciously spared my life by means of laying down His own. I long to imitate His selflessness, and my hope is that this trip will allow me the opportunity to learn skills for evangelizing and practice habitual boldness for His Kingdom.

I am excited to show the love of Christ with the next generation during our time working with the kids at VBS, as well as sharing the gospel with Mormons! Taking the step to share my faith is sometimes scary, and having others around me to challenge my beliefs really solidifies what I believe.
