Knowing he will soon die a martyr’s death, Peter writes a letter to the church scattered around modern day Turkey. Many were persecuted, struggling to live out their faith in the midst of a culture that was hostile to them. Peter’s words aren’t just for the early church, his words…God’s words…are for us today. The call is to “Stay Sharp.”
