Knowing he will soon die a Martyr’s death, Peter writes a letter to the church scattered around modern day Turkey. Many were persecuted, struggling to live out their faith in the midst of a culture that was hostile them. Peter’s words weren’t just for the early church, his words… God’s words… are for us today. The call is to “Stay Sharp”.
